Crop production under changing environment

Welcome to the Peleg's lab website. Our lab focuses on quantitative genetics of climate-resilience crops. We use various genetic resources such as wild relatives, landraces, advanced cultivars, introgression lines, and segregating populations. We aim to bridge the genotype-phenotypes gap and discover novel genes and traits that will facilitate future breeding of climate-resilience crops. We develop novel pre-breeding material with adapted genetic backgrounds to improve yield production under semi-arid Mediterranean climatic conditions.
